Canyons in Florida? Yep, and you zip-line 'em

Anyone who?s been to Lake or Polk counties knows Central Florida can be hilly ? but rocky? My cousin Graham, his girlfriend and I saw that side of Florida at the Canyons Zip Line & Canopy Tours near Ocala. At the abandoned quarry, limestone underlying much of Florida was blasted out by dynamite decades ago. I got a bird?s-eye view on a three-hour tour while zip-lining from tree to tree and across the still waters encircled by jagged rock faces. Horseback riding and night zip-lining also are offered.
